Dr Steve Stramotas obtained his Bachelor of Science in Dentistry and his Masters in Dentistry at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa. This was followed by a Masters Degree in Orthodontics in 1999 from Sydney University.

He has lectured both nationally and internationally and over the past 15 years has been an Honorary lecturer at the University of Sydney, tutoring and lecturing the post graduates.

Dr Stramotas is also actively involved in teaching the art of Lingual (Incognito) Braces and is the Key Opinion Leader for 3M Australia, lecturing and teaching Orthodontists all over Australia and New Zealand. It is his passion and enjoyment of the orthodontic profession that has driven him to continuing his education. This has led our practice into using cutting edge technology and the latest orthodontic techniques such as Lingual (behind the teeth) braces, Suresmile digitally designed orthodontic system and Dr Stramotas is also a provider of the orthodontic Invisalign aligner treatment system. All the systems above have contributed to making our practice conducive to adult patients and helped to create a happy orthodontic environment for all our patients young and old.

Dr Stramotas also specialises in early and adolescent treatment where we are able to make a difference early to optimise facial balance and symmetry and simplify any later comprehensive orthodontic treatment that may be needed.
